Nation 175 Daniel's Island Road <br /> and Martha M. Palank V-97-33 Map 100 Block 41 <br /> A Petition was filed on March 25, 1997 by Ronald E. and Cheryl A. Nation and <br /> Martha M. Palank for a Variance from Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to exceed the 70 foot dock length limit on property located in an R-3 zoning <br /> district at 175 Daniel's Island Road (Map 100, Block 41)Mashpee, Massachusetts, <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on April 4 and April 11, 1997, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, April 23, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Cheryl A. <br /> Hawver and Robert G. Nelson. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174- <br /> 25.1.9 of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Ronald E. Nation represented the Petition and informed the Board that an addition <br /> to an existing dock was planned which would result in a total length of 136 feet from the <br /> edge of the marsh. The planned modification of the dock has been approved by the <br /> Conservation Commission, Shellfish Warden and Harbormaster. No comments were <br /> received from abutters. Mr. Nation explained that the dock is shared with property of <br /> Martha M. Palank, 181 Daniel's Island Road (Map 100, Block 39), <br />
