Nation represented the Petition and informed the Board that the
Modification to the Special Permit was required for changes to an existing dock. He
explained that the replacement of the existing 12' x 16' float with a 6' x 20' float and a
12' x 20' float would enable access to deeper water and reduce the impact on the coastal
environment. The planned modification of the dock has been approved by the
Conservation Commission, Shellfish Warden and Harbormaster. Mr. Nation explained
that the dock is shared with property of Martha M. Palank, 181 Daniel's Island Road
(Map 100, Block 39).
