Locarno - SP-97-40 51 Waterline Drive South <br /> Map 120 Block 145 <br /> A Petition was filed on April 18, 1997 by Gary M. Locamo of Boston, <br /> ' Massachusetts for a Modification of Special Permit 90-01-01 for permission to add a 4' x <br /> 15' ramp and 6' x 30' float to an existing 4' x 108' walkway on property located in an R-3 <br /> zoning district at 51 Waterline Drive South (Map 120, Block 145). Special Permit 90-01- <br /> 01 was issued to Harold Cohen on February 21, 1990 for a walkway to provide access to <br /> Great River Cove for two adjoining lots at 51 Waterline Drive South and 47 Waterline <br /> Drive South (Map 120, Block 146). <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on May 9, 1997 and May 16, 1997, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, May 28, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Cheryl A. <br /> Hawver and Michael A. Makunas. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicant and presented plans for the <br /> addition of a ramp and float to an existing walkway which is shared by two lots. He <br /> informed the Board that the Harbormaster and Shellfish Constable have approved the <br /> project. Reports on shellfish and benthic studies which were conducted in the area were <br /> presented to the Board and the results indicate that there are no species of shellfish of <br />
