Lynch - SP-97-48 70 Popponesset Island Road <br /> Map 106 Block 28 <br /> A Petition was filed on June 10, 1997 by Craig S. Lynch for a Special Permit under <br /> Sections 174-17, 174-20 and 174-33 of the Zoning By-laws to allow the removal of a pre- <br /> existing residential structure and the replacement with a new single family dwelling on <br /> property located in an R-3 zoning district at 70 Popponesset Island Road (Map 106, Block <br /> 28)Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record: Albert A. and Lillian A. Hollander). <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on July 4 and July 11, 1997, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, July 23, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the Board <br /> of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Cheryl A. Hawver <br /> and James E. Regan III. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 6 and the Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-laws, <br /> Attorney Robert J. Galibois represented the applicant and informed the Board that <br /> the lot contains a house, garage, cottage and shed which will be razed and replaced with a <br /> new home. He explained that the new structure will result in 11%lot coverage and that <br /> the front and side setbacks will conform to zoning and the rear setback will be an <br /> improvement over existing conditions. No comments were received from abutters. <br />
