Lingamfelter SP-97-53 65 Seconsett Point Road <br /> Map 124 Block 14 <br /> A Petition was filed on August 4, 1997 by Katharine F. Lingamfelter of <br /> Boxborough, Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws for the construction of a walkway, pier, ramp and float on Little River on <br /> property located in an R-3 zoning district at 65 Seconsett Point Road (Map 124,Block <br /> 14) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on August 8 and August 15, 1997, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, August 27, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following embers of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> Regan III and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and Section 174-25 of <br /> the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Barbara Frappier of Warwick Associates represented the applicant and informed <br /> the Board that the proposed dock had been redesigned and shortened to comply with <br /> therequirements of the Harbormaster. She explained that the Conservation Commission, <br /> Shellfish Warden and Harbormaster have approved the revised plans. The Board <br /> determined that the proposed dock would be 132 feet in length from the edge of the <br /> wetlands and required a Variance. No comments were received from abutters. <br />
