Tuohy - V-97-56 53 Dry Hollow Lane <br /> Map 83, Block 99 <br /> A Petition was filed by Robert J. and Patricia A. Tuohy of Holbrook, <br /> Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for permission <br /> to vary the front setback requirements to allow the construction of a porch 26.58 feet <br /> from the street on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 53 Dry Hollow Lane (Map <br /> 83, Block 99)Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on August 22 and August 29, 1997, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, September 10, 1997 at 7:30P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Michael A. <br /> Makunas and James M. Dorgan. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174-31 <br /> of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> William Weller and Thomas Griffin represented the applicants and informed the <br /> Board that they wished to add an open farmer's porch to the front of the house. <br /> Comments were received from a direct abutter in favor of the application. <br />
