Bevilacqua-V-97-59 27 Keel Way <br /> Map 12 Block 135 <br /> A Petition was filed on August 25, 1997 by Louis and Roberta A.Bevilacqua for a <br /> Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the 15 foot <br /> side setback requirement to allow for the addition of a closet on the north side of the <br /> house which will result in a side setback of 13 feet. The property is located in an R-3 <br /> zoning district at 27 Keel Way (Map 120, Block 135) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on September 5 and September 12, 1997, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, September 24, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of <br /> the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> Regan III and Cheryl A.Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174-31 <br /> of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Architect Fred Giampetro represented the applicant and informed the Board that <br /> the owners wished to enlarge a closet in the master bedroom to provide additional storage <br /> space. He explained that the property was located in the flood plain and that the <br /> basement cannot be used for storage space. No comments were received from abutters. <br />
