Labrecque - - SP-97-62 8 Capstan Circle Map 111, Block 99 A Petition was filed by Francis J. and Lori S. Labrecque of Dover, Massachusetts on September 26, 1997 for a Special Permit under Section 174-17 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to expand a pre-existing non-conforming dwelling with an 18 foot by 24 foot addition to replace an existing 8 foot by 12 foot shed on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 8 Capstan Circle(Map 111, Block 99)Mashpee, MA. Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on October 3 and October 10, 1997, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, October 22, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and Cheryl A. Hawver. This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 6 and Section 174-17 of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. Architect Tony Ferragamo represented the applicant and reviewed plans for the removal of an 8' x 12' shed and replacement with an 18' x 24' addition which will be used for a garage and second floor family room. He informed the Board that the house is located in Fema Flood Zone 13 and has no basement storage area.
