Boylan - V-97-64 40 Alma Road <br /> Map 111, Block 161 <br /> A Petition was filed by Gerald V. and Dorothy R. Boylan of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts on September 29, 1997 for a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws for permission to vary the front yard setback requirements in an R-5 zoning <br /> district on property located at 40 Alma Road (Map 111, Block 16 1) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on October 3 and October 10, 1997, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, October 22, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> Regan III and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174-31 <br /> of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. Boylan represented his Petition and informed the Board that a Variance and a <br /> Special Permit to allow the house addition was granted in 1995 but both Decisions expired <br /> before he was able to begin construction. No comments were received from abutters. <br />
