Adner- V-97-66 17 Bowsprit Point <br /> Map 105 Block 228 <br /> A Petition was filed by Barbara C. Adner of Mashpee, Massachusetts on <br /> September 29 1997 for a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws to vary the <br /> front yard setback to allow a 16 foot setback from Bowsprit Point on property located in <br /> an R-3 zoning district at 17 Bowsprit Point (Map 105, Block 228) Mashpee, Ma. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on October 3 and October 10, 1997, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, October 22, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Michael A. Makunas, Robert G. <br /> Nelson and James M. Dorgan. <br /> . This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174-31 <br /> of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer Michael Grotzke represented the applicant and informed the Board that <br /> the lot was not included in the New Seabury Special Permit and was subject to R-75 <br /> zoning. He reviewed the plans to replace an existing front porch with a front addition to <br /> allow the relocation of a stairway. No comments were received from abutters. <br />
