Labrecque - V-97-63 8 Capstan Circle <br /> Map 111, Block 99 <br /> A Petition was filed by Francis J. and Lori S. Labrecque of Dover, Massachusetts <br /> on September 26, 1997 for a Variance from Sections 174-28 and 174-31 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws to allow a 9.2 foot sideyard setback and an 11.3 foot frontyard setback on <br /> property located in an R-3 zoning district at 8 Capstan Circle(Map 111, Block 99) <br /> Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on October 3 and October 10, 1997, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, October 22, 1997 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> Regan III and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Sections 174-28 <br /> and 174-31 of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Architect Tony Ferragamo represented the applicant and presented plans for the <br /> expansion of a single family home. He explained that the site is located in a Fema Flood <br /> Zone and was in the R-75 zoning district rather than the New Seabury Special Permit area. <br /> He reviewed plans to remove an existing storage shed and build an 18' x 24' garage to <br /> provide additional storage. <br />
