SP-97-69 - 370 Industrial Drive <br /> (Map 88, Block 41) <br /> A Petition was filed on September 30, 1997 by the Mashpee Industrial Park Trust, <br /> Paul DeRuyter, Trustee, for a Special Permit under Sections 174-25.D.1-4 and 174- <br /> 25.G.1-8 <br /> 74- <br /> 25.G.1-8 of the Zoning By-laws for a proposed 120 foot by 80 foot building to be used <br /> for shared office space and/or personnel and technology support for new start-up <br /> businesses (incubator space). The property is located in an 1-1 zoning district at 370 <br /> Industrial Drive(Map 88,Block 41)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on October 24 and October 31, 1997, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday,November 12, 1997 and continued on January 14, 1998, at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward <br /> M. Govoni, Cheryl A. Hawver and James M. Dorgan.. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Attorney Patrick M. Butler represented the applicant and informed the Board that <br /> the office building was a part of the Development Agreement of the Mashpee Industrial <br /> Park with the Cape Cod Commission. He explained that this was pre-permitting for <br /> approved uses and reviewed the site plans. The proposed building will be used for office <br /> space for start-up business. Mr. Butler stated that the building design had been changed in <br /> response to comments from the Design Review Committee and that revised landscape <br />
