r <br /> Town of Mashpee <br /> 3 s� <br /> 16 Great JVeck Xoad Arth <br /> ���,Em• <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> " BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Decision for a Special Permit <br /> RE: Maxwell Gates - SP-97-72 8 Waterline Drive North <br /> Map 120, Block 177 <br /> A Petition was filed on October 10, 1997 by Maxwell Gates of Newton, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-17 of the Zoning By-laws for the <br /> expansion of an existing non-conforming structure with a 16 foot by 18 foot house <br /> addition and expansion of a rear deck on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 18 <br /> Waterline Drive North (Map 120, Block 177) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on October 24 and October 31, 1997, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday,November 12, 1997 at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and <br /> Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 6 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicant and informed the Board that an <br /> addition to the house and deck is planned at the rear of an existing property. No <br /> comments were received from abutters. <br />
