Gurkin of <br /> Needham, Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> r <br /> permission to vary the lot coverage to allow for a 20' x 36' house addition on property <br /> located in an R-3 zoning district at 81 Uncle Edward's Road (Map 117,Block 213) <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on November 21 and November 28, 1997, <br /> ` a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday,December 10, 1997 at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and <br /> Michael A. Makunas. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174-31 <br /> of the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer David Sanicki and Architect Barbara Jones represented the application <br /> and presented plans for a house addition and porch to be constructed at the rear of the <br /> house. Mr. Sanicki said that the addition will result in lot coverage of 25.9% which <br /> exceeds the 20% allowed in this zoning district. He explained that the front and rear <br /> setbacks exceed the zoning requirements. No comments were received from abutters. <br />
