Kariotis- SP-96-10 67 Tide Run <br /> Map 125, Block 251 <br /> A Petition was filed by Andrew and Gloria A. Kariotis of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> on December 18, 1995 for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By- <br /> laws for permission to extend an existing pier with a new 55 foot walkway and relocated <br /> ramp and float on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 67 Tide Run (Map 125, <br /> Block 25 1)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on January 5, 1996 and January 12, 1996, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, January 24, 1996 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> Regan III and Kenneth E. Marsters, <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and Sections 174-24 <br /> and 174-25.1.9 of the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer Michael H. Grotzke represented the applicant and explained that an <br /> existing dock has been rebuilt and the design revised to meet the requirements of the <br /> Conservation Commission, Shellfish Constable and Harbormaster. Comments were <br /> received from the Conservation Commission in support of the plans and from Richard <br /> York, Shellfish Constable, confirming that the design improves the habitat for the shellfish <br /> in the area. <br />
