V-96-17 8 Ryan's Way <br /> Map 67, Block 75 <br /> A Petition was filed on February 1, 1996 by the Doe Family Trust/99 West Inc. <br /> of Woburn, Massachusetts for a Variance from Sections 174-55.13, C, F and G of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to allow internal illumination of signs, exceed the <br /> maximum signboard area and locate a freestanding sign 12 feet from the lot line on Great <br /> Neck Road North on property located in a C-I zoning district at 8 Ryan's Way (Map 67, <br /> Block 75)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on February 9 and February 16, 1996, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, February 28, 1996 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> Regan III and Cheryl A. Hawver. The Hearing was continued to March 27 and April 10, <br /> 1996. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174-55 <br /> of the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> The Petitioners were represented by Randall Bartlett at the February 28 Hearing <br /> and Dana Doe at the April 10 Hearing. Mr. Bartlett informed the Board that the Design <br /> Review Committee had rejected the design for the proposed standing sign and he would <br /> be preparing a mock-up of a new design to be installed at the site.
