Hodgman - V-96-26 110 Wheeler Road <br /> Map 57, Block 20 <br /> A Petition was filed by Marjorie M. Hodgman of Carlisle, Massachusetts on <br /> February 21, 1996 for a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to vary the lot size and frontage requirements to allow the construction of a <br /> single family home on property located in an R-5 zoning district at 110 Wheeler Road <br /> (Map 57, Block 20)Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on March 8, 1996 and March 15, 1996 <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, March 27, 1996 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Cheryl A. <br /> Hawver and Kenneth E. Marsters. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174-31 <br /> of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws, <br /> Attorney Robert Mills represented the applicant and presented plans of a 1947 <br /> subdivision of Wilfrid Wheeler. He informed the Board that the Hodgman lot of 29,600 <br /> square feet exceeded the zoning requirements at the time it was created and has been <br /> maintained as a separate, buildable lot since then. He explained that the owners have a <br /> home on an adjacent lot. No comments were received from abutters. <br />
