Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on March 22, 1996 and March 29, 1996, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, April 10, 1996 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and Robert <br /> ' G. Nelson. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174-31 <br /> of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Attorney Douglas Murphy and Engineer Jack O'Leary represented the applicant <br /> and reviewed plans for the construction of a second building on the site of the service <br /> station to accommodate an automatic car wash and to allow changes in the approved <br /> fighting at the station. Mr. Murphy informed the Board that the construction of a separate <br /> building will require the relocation of certain parking and accessways. He reviewed the <br /> setback requirements and explained that the proposed building will be 85 feet from <br /> Falmouth Road and that the easterly rear corner of the existing building lies 12.95 feet <br /> from the center line of Great Neck Road South. The applicant desires to create new 9' x <br /> 18.5' parking spaces at the northerly end of the premises to replace spaces used by the <br />
