Boyd 12 Bright Coves Way <br /> Map 111, Block 43 <br /> A Petition was filed on March 27, 1996 by F. Keats and Ina C. Boyd of Mashpee, <br /> r <br /> Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for permission <br /> to vary the side line setback requirements to allow the addition of a breezeway and garage <br /> on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 12 Bright Coves Way(Map 111,Block <br /> 43) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on April 19, 1996 and April 26, 1996, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Middle School on <br /> Wednesday, May 8, 1996 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the Board <br /> of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III <br /> and Kenneth E. Marsters. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174-31 <br /> of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer Michael Grotzke represented the Applicants and informed the Board that <br /> they planned to add a breezeway and garage to a home which is located outside of the <br /> New Seabury Special Permit area. He stated that the lot was created in 1961 in an R-75 <br /> zoning district which required 7 1/2 foot side setbacks. The lot is impacted by location <br /> within the flood plain and the need to have a 20 foot setback from the septic system. <br /> Comments were received from abutters in favor of the proposal. <br />
