Town of Mashpee <br />` 3 <br /> 16 Great Neck q(oad Arth <br /> �All,y l.V' <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS Mashpee,Massachusetts 02649 <br /> Decision for a Variance <br /> RE: Thomas and Lynn O'Hara- V-96-47 110 Amos Landing Road <br /> Map 82 Block 91 <br /> A Petition was filed on June 19, 1996 by Thomas and Lynn O'Hara of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Variance from Sections 174-31 and 174-33 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to vary the setback requirements to allow the construction of a single family <br /> house on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 110 Amos Landing Road (Map 82, <br /> Block 91)Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on July 5, 1996 and July 12, 1996, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Carol H. Jacobson Senior Center <br /> on Wednesday, July 24, 1996 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> Regan III and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174-31 <br /> of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws, <br /> Engineer Michael Grotzke represented the applicants and presented plans tbf the: <br /> construction of a single family home on a lot impacted by wetlands. He informed the <br /> Board that there was a small upland area on which construction would be allowed by the <br /> Board of Health and the Conservation Commission. No comments were received from <br /> abutters. <br />
