Town of Mashpee <br /> 16 Great,Neck Road Arth <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Decision for a Variance <br /> RE: Deer Crossing Associates -Italian Market - V96-61 681 Falmouth Road <br /> Map 81 Block 23 <br /> A Petition was filed by Deer Crossing Associates - Italian Market - on September <br /> 3, 1996 for a Variance from Section 174-55B of the Zoning By-laws to allow two signs to <br /> be affixed to the exterior of a building on property located in a C-1 zoning district at 681 <br /> Falmouth Road (Map 81, Block 23)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on September 20, 1996 and September 27, <br /> 1996, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Carol H. Jacobson Senior Center <br /> on Wednesday, October 9, 1996 at 7:30 P.M.and continued to October 23, 1996 at which <br /> times the following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> The applicant did not appear at the hearings and there was no representation for <br /> the Petition. Comments were received from abutters present at both hearings objecting to <br /> the signs on the Italian Market and other zoning violations at the site. <br /> I ' <br />
