Reed - SP-96-73 62 Riverside Road <br /> Map 119 Block 136 <br /> A Petition was filed by Barbara H. Reed of Lancaster, Massachusetts for a <br /> a Special Permit under Sections 174-17 and 174-20 to allow the removal of a pre- <br /> existing residential structure and the replacement with a new single family dwelling on <br /> property located in an R-3 zoning district at 62 Riverside Road (Map 119, Block 136) <br /> Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on October 25, 1996 and November 1, <br /> 1996, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Carol H. Jacobson Senior Center <br /> on Wednesday, November 13, 1996 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of <br /> the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Cheryl A. <br /> Hawver and Richard T. Guerrera. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 6 and Section 174-17 of <br /> the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws, <br /> Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicant and presented plans for the <br /> replacement of a seasonal home and pictures of the existing cottage. Comments were <br /> received from a direct abutter requesting that the house be moved back from Riverside <br /> Road and it was determined that the house could be relocated to be 27 feet from <br /> Riverside Road. <br />
