Board of Appeals Minutes - December 13, 1995 3. <br />Thomas G. Routhier - Requests a Variance from Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By- <br />laws for permission to exceed the 70' length requirement for piers to allow for a 158' <br />boardwalk and pier and a 3' x 14' ramp and 8' x 16' float in an R-3 zoning district on <br />property located at 16 Summersea Road (Map 104, Block 95) Mashpee, MA. <br />Thomas G. Routhier - Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning <br />By-laws for a boardwallt, pier, ramp and float in Ockway Bay in an R-3 zoning district on <br />property located at 16 Summersea Road (Map 104, Block 95) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: E. Govoni, K. Marsters, R. Nelson <br />Engineer Stephen J. Doyle represented the applicant explained that the rear of the lot <br />abuts extensive marshland and that this dock as well as others in the vicinity had to be <br />extended beyond the 70' limit. <br />Mr. Nelson moved to grant the Variance. He stated that the proposed dock will be <br />accessory to an existing dwelling and the proposal has been approved by the shellfish <br />constable and Conservation. Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. <br />Mr. Nelson moved to grant the Special Permit. Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. <br />• Gloria Stankowski - There was no representative for this continued hearing. Mr. Govoni <br />moved to continue to January 10, 1996 and to write to the applicant that this was being <br />done. Mr. Regan seconded. All agreed. <br />Elizabeth Petti - Ms. Hawver moved to grant the request for a six month extension of the <br />Decision.. Mr. Marsters seconded and Mr. Nelson made the Decision unanimous. <br />Donald F. and Ronnie P. Baron - Mr. Govoni moved to revise the first page of the <br />Decision to include the cluster zoning by-law. Mr. Nelson seconded. Mr. Marsters made <br />the Decision unanimous. <br />Mobil - Ms. Hawver moved to release the landscape bond for Mobil. Mr. Marsters <br />seconded and Mr. Govoni made the Decision unanimous. <br />Zoning Articles - The Board agreed to ask Town Counsel to draft a zoning article for the <br />Spring Town Meeting reinstating the protection of contiguous lots over 10,000 square <br />feet which are held in common ownership. The protection would be for two years. The <br />Board agreed to submit another Article on off -premise signs. <br />Mr. Govoni moved to adjourn. Mr. Nelson seconded.
