O'Neill - SP-95-14 24 Taffrail Way <br /> Map 112, Block 33 <br /> A Petition was filed on January 17, 1995 by John T. O'Neill of Chatham, New <br /> Jersey for a Special Permit under Sections174-17 and 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to expand a pre-existing non-conforming dwelling with the house addition and <br /> deck on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 24 Taffrail Way (Map 112, Block 33) <br /> Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on January 20 and January 27, 1995, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> IWednesday, February 8, 1995 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> ! Regan III and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 6 and Sections 174-17 <br /> and 174-31 of the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer Michael Grotzke represented the applicant and presented plans for a <br /> house addition to a pre-existing non-conforming dwelling. He explained that the revised <br /> by-law excluding wetlands from the computation of lot coverage resulted in an existing <br /> coverage of 23% and that the addition would result in 26.2%. <br />
