Stankowski V-95-62 13,17,21,25 Ashumet Ave. <br /> Map 41/33, 49/107,108,109 <br /> A Petition was filed by Gloria M. Stankowski of Arlington, Massachusetts for a <br /> Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the frontage <br /> and lot size requirements in an R-5 zoning district on property located at 13, 17, 21 and <br /> 25 Ashumet Avenue(Map 41, Block 33; May 49, Blocks 107, 108 and 109)Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts. The applicant proposes to combine four lots into two lots. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on October 6, 1995 and October 13, 1995, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, October 25, 1995 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br /> Regan III and Robert G. Nelson. The hearing was continued to December 13, 1995 at <br /> which time there was no representation. The hearing was continued to January 10, 1996 <br /> and canceled due to weather conditions and continued to January 17, 1996. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174-31 <br /> of the Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> The applicant and Engineer John Slavinsky represented the Petition. The Board <br /> was informed that the owner did not know of the 1990 zoning changes on undeveloped <br /> non-conforming lots. Mr. Slavinsky noted that each of the lots was subject to substantial <br /> street and water betterment charges, real estate taxes and dues in the Briarwood <br /> Association. <br />
