Flanders - SP-95-69 10 Cross Street <br /> Map 29, Block 47 <br /> A Petition was filed on November 16, 1995 by James W. Flanders of Northboro, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-17 of the Zoning By-laws for the <br /> reconstruction and expansion of a pre-existing non-conforming dwelling in an R-3 zoning <br /> district on property located at 10 Cross Street (Map 128, Block 16)Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts. (Owner of record: Virginia B. Dolazza) <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on November 24, 1995 and December 1, <br /> 1995, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, December 13, 1995 at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and <br /> Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 6 and Section 174-17 of <br /> the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicant and presented plans for the <br /> replacement of an existing home which has been approved by the Conservation <br /> Commission. He informed the Board that the new location of the home was more in <br /> conformance with zoning than the previous structure. Comments were received from <br /> residents of the area concerning views from other properties. The applicant agreed to <br /> relocate the house to satisfy their concerns. <br />
