Board of Appeals Kenneth S. Sawyer SP-94-33 2 . <br /> The Board of Appeals made the following findings: <br /> 1 . The subject property is a 15 .1 acre commercially <br /> zoned property in the North Market Street section of <br /> Mashpee Commons. <br /> 2 . Supermarkets are an approved use in the C-2 zoning of <br /> the subject property with a Special Permit which was <br /> granted. <br /> 3 . The proposed signage identifies the occupancy of the <br /> ;. premises and advertises the departments therein. <br /> 4 . The proposed signage has been approved by the Design <br /> Review Committee and the Cape Cod Commission. <br /> The Board found that the proposed signage would not be <br /> a detriment to the neighborhood and was consistent with <br /> signage of other supermarkets of this size. The Board <br /> determined that the large exterior signs on the front and side <br /> of the building were necessary for identification from both <br /> abutting streets . <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals <br /> voted unanimously on April 27, 1994 to grant the special <br /> Permit . The Permit is referenced by plans of UB Maintenance <br /> Corporation dated March 18, 1994. <br />
