MA 02649 <br /> Decision <br /> for a Special Permit <br /> RE: Christopher Foss - SP 94-62 . <br /> A Petition was filed by Christopher FOSS of <br /> Concord, Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section <br /> 174-25 . i .9 of the Zoning By-laws to replace an existing <br /> pier, ramp and float with a raised timber pier, ramp and <br /> enlarged float in an R-3 zoning district on property <br /> located at 417 Monomoscoy Road (Map 124, Block 59 ) <br /> Mashpee , Massachusetts . ( Owner of record: Lisa Drake <br /> TRS . ) . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance <br /> with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was <br /> given by publication in The Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the TOWn Of Mashpee On August 5 and <br /> August 12 , 1994, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof . ` <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the <br /> Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, August 24 , 1994 at 7 : 30 <br /> P .M. at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: James E. <br /> Regan III, Cheryl A. Hawver and Kenneth E. Marsters. <br /> Engineer William F. Madden represented the <br /> applicant and presented plans for the reconstruction and <br /> maintenance of a pier, ramp and float. Comments were <br /> received from the Harbormaster requesting that the <br /> pier be shortened by four feet. Comments were received <br /> from abutters questioning the connection of the walkway <br /> with the deck of the house.
