Gorstein V-94-73 <br /> A Petition was filed by Mark and Susana L . Gorstein of <br /> Brookline , Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-31 <br /> of the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the front <br /> setback and lot coverage requirements to allow the <br /> construction of a garage in an R-3 zoning district on <br /> property located at 127 Tide Run (Map 120 , Block 181 ) <br /> Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly giveh to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given <br /> by publication in The Enterprise, a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee , on September 23 and <br /> September 30 , a copy of which is attached hereto and made a <br /> part hereof . <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the <br /> Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, October 12 , 1994 at 7 : 30 <br /> P .M. at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout : Edward M. <br /> Govoni , James E . Regan III and John J . Friel . <br /> Engineer Michael Grotzke represented the applicant and <br /> presented plans for the construction of a garage 15 ' from <br /> the front lot line . He informed the Board that the <br /> Conservation Commission had approved the project and had <br /> requested that the garage be moved forward on the lot to <br /> avoid the vegetated wetlands at the rear . <br />
