The property is located in a C-1 <br /> zoning district at 39 Nathan Ellis Highway (Map 74 , Block <br /> 22 ) Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record : North Market Street <br /> Assoc . Ltd. ) . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter_ 40A. Notice was given <br /> by publication in The Enterprise, a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee , on October 7 and <br /> October 14 , 1994 , a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof . <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the <br /> Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, October 26 , 1994 at 7 : 30 <br /> P .M. at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. <br /> Govoni , James E . Regan iii and Kenneth E. Marsters . <br /> Michael Caggione of Plymouth Sign Co . represented the <br /> applicant and presented sketches of two 20 sf signs to be <br /> placed on the east and west pediments . He said the combined <br /> square footage of the 2 signs is under the maximum of 5% of <br /> the area of the wall upon which the signs are located . In <br /> addition., there will be identificationn signs at the <br /> entrances . The Design Review Committee had approved the <br /> signs . No comments were received from abutters . <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of <br /> Appeals voted unanimouly on October 26 , 1994 to grant the <br /> Special Permit . The Board found that the signs were not a <br /> detriment to the area and complied with the provisions of <br /> the By-laws . <br />
