ToWn of Aa obpee <br /> t <br /> 16 GREAT NECK ROAD NORTH <br /> dry eLe c;�`' MASHPEE, MA 02649 . <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Decision for a Variance <br /> ' RE: Petition of Middleton and Dorinda O'Malley Keyes <br /> V-94-89 <br /> A Petition was filed by Middleton and Dorinda O 'Malley <br /> Keyes of Mashpee , Massachusetts for a Variance from Section <br /> 3.74-31 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the <br /> side yard setback requirements to allow for a 3 1/2 ' side <br /> setback for a proposed 22 ' x 30 ' two story garage to be <br /> constructed on property located in an R-3 zoning district <br /> at 47 Riverside Road (Map 119 , Block 73 ) Mashpee , MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given <br /> by publication in The Enterprise , a newspaper of general <br /> cir-ulation in the Town of Mashpee, on November 25 and <br /> December 2 , 1994 , a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof . <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the <br /> Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, December 14 , 1994 at 7 : 30 <br /> P .M. at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout : Edward M. <br /> Govoni, James E. Regan III and Robert G. Nelson. <br /> Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicant and <br /> presented plans for the construction of a two car <br /> a garage/carriage barn. He informed the Board that the <br /> proposed structure was located to keep it off of the <br /> septic system and the flood zone . He said the Conservation <br /> Commission had approved the project . Comments were received <br /> from two abutters in favor of the application. Mr . <br /> Slavinsky stated that there would be no living quarters in <br /> the second story of the garage . <br />
