Board of Appeals Minutes - February 10, 1993 <br />• Gladwin Trott - Requests a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning <br />By-laws for permission to vary the side line setback in an R-5 zoning <br />district on property located at 46 Meadow Haven Drive (Map 47, Block <br />46) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, E. Govoni <br />Barry Keene, Builder, represented Mr. Trott and presented plans <br />for a house addition. He explained that the slope of the lot'and <br />the location of the septic system prevented adding at any other <br />location. <br />Mr. Govoni moved to grant a Variance of 3.2' on the North side due <br />to the hardship of the topography of the lot. Mr. Makunas seconded. <br />All agreed. <br />3. <br />Robert J. and Valerie L. Zammito'- Request a Special Permit under <br />Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws for an existing dock, gangway <br />and float in an R-3 zoning district on property located at 4 Spoondrift <br />Circle (Map 111, Block 113) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, E. Govoni <br />Edward Pecce represented the applicant and explained that the owners <br />• were licensing an existing dock. The Board determined that the <br />plans submitted were not adequate and Mr. Pecce presented copies <br />'of the plans which had been required by Conservation. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to grant the Special Permit. Mr. Govoni seconded. <br />All agreed. <br />Gordon Weeks - Continued from January 27, 1993 <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, J. Regan <br />Mr. Friel said he had observed a demonstration of the paint ball <br />game on Saturday, February 6,1993 and that some of the abutters <br />were present. Mr. Weeks said that the property location has been <br />changed because of the concerns with noise levels and the entrance. <br />He said he had discussed a possible location in New Seabury. Mr. <br />Friel explained that the New Seabury Special Permit exempts the <br />use from the need for a Special Permit. Mr. Weeks submitted a request <br />to withdraw the application._ <br />Mr. Makunas moved to accept the withdrawal. Mr. Regan seconded. <br />All agreed. <br />0 <br />
