Board of Appeals Minutes - February 10, 1993 • Gladwin Trott - Requests a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the side line setback in an R-5 zoning district on property located at 46 Meadow Haven Drive (Map 47, Block 46) Mashpee, MA. Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, E. Govoni Barry Keene, Builder, represented Mr. Trott and presented plans for a house addition. He explained that the slope of the lot'and the location of the septic system prevented adding at any other location. Mr. Govoni moved to grant a Variance of 3.2' on the North side due to the hardship of the topography of the lot. Mr. Makunas seconded. All agreed. 3. Robert J. and Valerie L. Zammito'- Request a Special Permit under Section 174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws for an existing dock, gangway and float in an R-3 zoning district on property located at 4 Spoondrift Circle (Map 111, Block 113) Mashpee, MA. Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, E. Govoni Edward Pecce represented the applicant and explained that the owners • were licensing an existing dock. The Board determined that the plans submitted were not adequate and Mr. Pecce presented copies 'of the plans which had been required by Conservation. Mr. Makunas moved to grant the Special Permit. Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. Gordon Weeks - Continued from January 27, 1993 Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, J. Regan Mr. Friel said he had observed a demonstration of the paint ball game on Saturday, February 6,1993 and that some of the abutters were present. Mr. Weeks said that the property location has been changed because of the concerns with noise levels and the entrance. He said he had discussed a possible location in New Seabury. Mr. Friel explained that the New Seabury Special Permit exempts the use from the need for a Special Permit. Mr. Weeks submitted a request to withdraw the application._ Mr. Makunas moved to accept the withdrawal. Mr. Regan seconded. All agreed. 0
