TOWN OF MASHPEE <br />• Board of Appeals <br />Minutes <br />May 12, 1993 <br />The Mashpee Board of Appeals held a meeting on Wednesday, <br />May 12, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board <br />members present and acting throughout were John J. Friel, <br />Chairman; Michael A. Makunas, Vice Chairman; Edward M. <br />Govoni, Clerk; and Jamie Regan, Associate Member. Building <br />Inspector William F. Hauck was in attendance. <br />Ronald Gatturna - Requests a Special Permit under Section <br />174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws for an existing ramp and <br />floats in Ann's Cove in an R-3 zoning district on property <br />located at 74 Summersea Road (Map 105. Block 391 Mashpee, <br />MA. (Owner of record: Elizabeth I. Fulton). <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas. E. Govoni <br />Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicant and <br />explained that the owner was seeking an amnesty license for <br />an existing walkway, ramp and float. It is 64' from the mean <br />• high water mark. He said he could not prove it was built <br />before 1985. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to grant the Special Permit. Mr. Govoni <br />seconded. All agreed. <br />Donald Laffert - Requests a Special Permit under Section <br />174-25.1.9 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to <br />reconstruct a pier, ramp and float in Ockway Bay in an R-3 <br />zoning district on property located at 146 Summersea Road <br />(Map 105, Block 58) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, E. Govoni <br />Engineer John Slavinsky representd the applicant and <br />explained that the Summersea village Association had asked <br />for the walkway to be raised and new plans were submitted. <br />He said Mr. Laffert has given permission for Summersea <br />residents to use the dock. Mr. Makunas said that the owner <br />of the property has the rights and the covenants and <br />association do not concern the Board. <br />Mr. Slavinsky said that Chris Burden of New Seabury will not <br />write a letter approving use of the land until he has the <br />O.K. of the Summersea Association. <br />.1 <br />
