• Board of Appeals Minutes - November 10, 1993 3. <br />John D. Burke - Requests a Special Permit under Section <br />174-25.D.2 of the Zoning By-laws for a dialysis clinic of <br />approximately 5,000 square feet to be located in a C-1 <br />zoning district at Pine Tree Place, 509 21 Falmouth Road <br />(Map 67, Block 8, Lot 21) Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record: <br />U.S. Trust/Norfolk). <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, E. Govoni <br />Attorney Kevin Kirrane represented the applicant. He <br />showed plans of the commercial building and the space to be <br />occupied by the clinic. He explained that other space in <br />the building has been rented for general office use which <br />was permitted at the time of construction. He said there <br />would be no hazardous waste. Jack Burke said all water <br />from the use is considered potable and they will conform <br />with state and local health regulations. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to grant the Special Permit with the <br />condition that the applicant meet all of the recuirements <br />• of the Board of Health. Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. <br />Jean Marc & Lydia K. Goulet - Request a Special Permit <br />under Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws for proposed <br />stairs, pier, ramp, floats and fender piles to replace <br />existing pier and floats in Great River in an R-3 zoning <br />district on property located at 216 Monomoscoy Road (Map <br />114. Block 45A) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: J. Friel, M. Makunas, E. GovOnl <br />Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicant and <br />explained that an existing dock is to be replaced and plans <br />have been revised to meet Conservation Commission <br />requirements. There was discussion of Bill Hauck's memo on <br />which docks would require permits and Mr. Hauck said this <br />recuired construction and therefore a Special Permit was <br />needed. Comments were received from the Shellfish <br />Constable stating that the new pier would be an <br />improvement. <br />Mr. Friel moved to grant the Special Permit. Mr. Makunas <br />seconded. All agreed. <br />Mr. Friel called a recess at 8:40. Meeting reconvened at <br />8:50P.M. <br />• <br />
