Gallant for a Special Permit SP-93-20 <br /> A Petition was filed by Marjorie E. Gallant of Newton, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of <br /> the Zoning By-laws for an existing ramp and float in an R-3 <br /> zoning district on property located at 68 Waterway (Map 105, <br /> Block 212) Mashpee, Massachusetts. (Owner of record: Robert <br /> and Marjorie E. Gallant, TRS.) . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, <br /> on March 5 and March 12, 1993, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, March 24, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the <br /> following members of the Mashpee Board of Appeals were present and <br /> acting throughout: John J. Friel, Michael A. Makunas and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> Engineer Paul Lelito represented the applicant and present plans <br /> of a ramp and float which have been in existence since 1973. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted <br /> unanimously on March 24, 1993 to grant the Special Permit. The Permit <br /> is referenced by G.A.F. Engineering plans dated January 12, 1993 with <br /> any revisions required by the Conservation Commission. <br /> The Board found that the use is in harmony with the purpose and <br /> intent of the Zoning By-laws and complies with the provisions therein. <br /> The Board determined that the structure would not interfere with the <br /> free passage of travel by water or cause disruption to the coastal <br /> environment. <br />
