16 GREAT NECK ROAD NORTH <br /> MASHPEE, MA 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> RE: John J. and Mary T. Jordan for a Special Permit SP-93-27 <br /> A Petition was filed by John J. and Mary T. Jordan of Watertown, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-31 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws for permission to exceed 209 lot coverage in an R-3 zoning <br /> district on property located at 1 Wilson's Grove (Map 118, Block 101A) <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A, Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee <br /> on April 9 and April 16, 1993, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof. <br /> A .Public Hearing was held on the Petition on Wednesday, April 28, <br /> 1993 at 7:30 P.M. at the Mashpee Town Hall at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> John J. Friel, Michael A. Makunas and Edward M. Govoni. <br /> Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicant and presented <br /> plans for the reconstruction of an existing house and explained that <br /> all of the lots in the area predated zoning and that lot coverages <br /> in the area all exceeded 20%. No comments were received from abutters. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted <br /> unanimously on April 28, 1993 to grant the Special Permit to allow the <br /> reconstruction of a building that will have 23.7% lot coverage. The <br /> Permit is referenced by plans of Cape & Islands Engineering dated <br /> March 4, 1993. <br /> The Board found that the use is in harmony with the purpose and <br /> intent of the by-laws and complies with the provisions therein. <br />
