�t 7ou"or <br /> Tobin of Ala bpee <br /> •�.' 16 GREAT NECK ROAD NORTH <br /> 0 <br /> ' e MASHPEE, MA 02649 <br /> a <br /> ABI,F.CO' <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> RE: Colonial Industries for a Special Permit SP-93-65 <br /> A Petition was filed by Colonial Industries of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.G.5 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> to allow for manufacturing, assembly or packaging of goods in an <br /> I-1 zoning district on property located at 92 Industrial Drive <br /> (Map 88, Block 32) Mashpee, Massachusetts. (Owner of record: <br /> George H. Twomey) . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee <br /> on August 6 and August 13, 1993, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> v. and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, August 25, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: John J. Friel, Michael A. Makunas and Edward M. Govoni. <br /> James Curtis of Colonial Industries represented the Petition <br /> and explained that his business does assembly of first-aid kits. <br /> He explained that there would be no hazardous waste. <br /> The Board determined that the use is in harmony with the general <br /> purpose and intent of the zoning by-laws and complies with the <br /> provisions therein. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted <br /> unanimously on August 25, 1993 to grant the Special Permit. <br /> V <br />
