Rossman for a Special Permit <br /> SP-93-62 <br /> A- Petition was filed by Jeffrey E. and Janet M. <br /> 'Rossmar. of Boxford, Massachusetts for a Special Permit <br /> under Section 174-25 . I . 9 of the Zoning By-laws to <br /> license and maintain ramp and floats which are to <br /> replace existing ramp and float in an R-3 zoning <br /> district on property located at 19 Bowsprit Point (Map <br /> 105, Block 227 ) Mashpee, Massachusetts . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance <br /> ` with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was <br /> given by publication in The Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> gene_al circulation in the Town of Mashpee on August 6 <br /> ane. August 13 , 1993, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof . <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the <br /> Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, August 25 , 1993 at 7 : 30 <br /> P .M. at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout : John J. <br /> Friel, Michael A. Makunas and Edward M. Govoni . <br /> Engineer David Sanicki represented the applicant <br /> and explained that Conservation had issued an Order of <br /> Conditions for the proposed ramp and floats and that the <br /> two floats are now 6 ' x 161 . <br /> The Board determined that the structure will not <br /> interfere with free passage of travel by water or land <br /> or cause or contribute to the substantial disruption or <br /> degradation on the marine or coastal environment . <br /> The Board found that the use is in harmony with the <br /> general purpose and intent of the zoning by-laws and use <br /> complies with the provisions of the by-law. <br />
