,1. <br /> /Nrp y\ A 19obon of 16a .5bpee <br /> �'• 16 GREAT NECK ROAD NORTH <br /> MASHPEE, MA 02649 <br /> lsSLE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR A VARIANCE <br /> RE: Louis and Ethelleen Antunes for a Variance V-93-80 <br /> A Petition was filed by Louis and Ethelleen Antunes of Mashpee, <br /> Massacusetts for a Variance from Section 174-32 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> ;;to. allow for the construction of two single family residences on a <br /> roadway of permeable material in an R-3 zoning district on properties <br /> located at 10 Antunes Avenue (Map 69, Block 178) and 11 Antunes <br /> Avenue (Map 69, Block 179) Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee <br /> on September 3 and September 10, 1993, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, September 22, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: John J. Friel, Michael A. Makunas and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> Mrs. Antunes represented the application and informed the Board <br /> that the Planning Board had granted a release of the covenants for the <br /> two parcels, Lot 11 (69/179) and Lot 12 (69/178) . . Building Inspector <br /> William F. Hauck stated that this release applied to water and roads. <br /> He explained that the permeable road had been constructed as a road <br /> bed for final paving and included four drains. He stated that the road <br /> is a double lane which would allow fire trucks to pass. The subdivision <br /> plan required that 5. 1 acres of land adjoining these lots be designated <br /> as open space. <br />
