Salzer for a Special Permit SP-92-21 <br /> A Petition was filed by Doris P. Salzer of Worcester, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for an existing pier, ramp and floats on Popponesset Creek in an <br /> R-3 zoning district on property located at 76 Spoondrift Way (Map 112, <br /> Block 42) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee <br /> on March 20 and March 27, 1992, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, April 8, 1992 and, lacking a quorum of the )Board, was <br /> continued on Wednesday, April 22, 1992 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: Michael A. Makunas, Cheryl A. Hawver and John J. Friel. <br /> Engineer John Slavinsky represented the applicant. He presented" <br /> plans of a dock built in 1969 which the owner is now licensing under <br /> Chapter 91. No comments were received from abutters or Conservation. <br /> The Board found' that the use is in harmony with the general <br /> purpose and intent of the by-laws and complies with the provisions <br /> therein. The Board determined that the structure will not interfere <br /> with the free passage of travel by water or cause disruption to the <br /> coastal environment. <br />
