McCormack for a Variance V-92-32 <br /> A Petition was filed by William M. and Geraldine H. McCormack of <br /> Short Hills, New Jersey for a Variance from Section 174-31 of the <br /> Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the side line setback in an <br /> R-3 zoning district on property located at 77 Tide Run (Map 120, <br /> Block 190) . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee <br /> on May 1 and May 8, 1992, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, May.:13, 1992 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> John J. Friel, Michael A. Makunas and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> Engineer Christopher Costa represented the applicants and <br /> . presented plans for a proposed pier to be located 5' from the <br /> lot line. He informed the Board that existing steps and walkway <br /> had been constructed in 1987 at the edge of the marsh and that the <br /> pier, ramp and float would be a continuation from the steps. He <br /> explained that the location was necessitated by the location of <br /> other piers and the topography of the lot. <br />
