Gillmore for a Special Permit SP-92-37 <br /> A Petition was filed by George R. Gillmore of Cotuit, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit under Sections 174-25.B.4, 174-25.G.5, 174-25.G.6, <br /> 174-25.G.9 and 174-25.H.6 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to <br /> operate a heavy marine contracting business in an I-1 zoning district <br /> on property located at 37 Bowdoin Road (Map 54, Block 10) Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts. (Owner of record: Stephen P. and Philip R. Holmes TRS.) <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee <br /> on May 8 and. May 15, 1992, a copy of which is attached hereto and made <br /> a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, May 27, 1992 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> John J. Friel, Michael A. Makunas and Edward M. Govoni. <br /> Douglas Cameron of Braman Engineering represented the applicant <br /> and presented revised plans for a building and landscaping on the site. <br /> The rear yard area will be used for storage of heavy equipment such as <br /> wood and piles used in dock construction. <br /> The Board found that the use is in harmony with the general <br /> purpose and intent of the by-laws and complies with the provisions <br /> therein. <br />
