MA 02649 8LE N BOARD OF APPEALS DECISION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT RE: MASHPEE STORAGE FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT SP-92-53 A Petition was filed by W. R. Harvey d/b/a Mashpee Storage for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.G.7 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to operate a U-Haul Truck Rental Outlet in an I-1 zoning district on property located at 848 Falmouth Road (Map 88, Block ZA) Mashpee, MA. (Owner of record: G. Howard Hayes TR.) Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on June 26 and July 3, 1992, a copy of which is attached hereto and made apart hereof. A Public Hearing was held an the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, July 15, 1992 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: John J. Friel, Michael A. Makunas and Edward M. Govoni. Mr. Harvey represented his Petition and explained that he was adding U-Haul Rental Facilities to the Mashpee Storage business. He plans to have three trucks available for rental. Board members reviewed the conditions of the Special Permit for the storage facility. SP-84-10-042 issued to::Eau1. J. Woods, and noted that this permit required that all storage of trucks be in the rear of the buildings. Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted unanimously on July 15, 1992 to grant the Special Permit subject to the following conditions: 1. storage of rental trucks to be at the rear of the buildings 2. applicant to apply for a sign permit I 3. applicant to appear before the Design Review Committee for approval of sign plans. I
