MA 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> RE: Petition of Purity Supreme for a Special Permit SP-91-26 <br /> (Agent: Owen Tegan Associates) <br /> A Petition was filed by Owen Tegan Associates of Wilton, <br /> Connecticut, agent for Purity Supreme, for a Special Permit under <br /> Section 174-51.D of the Zoning By-laws for permission to replace <br /> the Angelo's sign in a C-1 zoning district on property located at <br /> Mashpee Commons, Route 28 and Route 151 (Map 74, Block 20) <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts. (Owner of record: Fields Point Ltd. <br /> Partnership) . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 4OA. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, <br /> on March 25, 1991 and April 2, 1991, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, April 10, 1991 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: Cheryl A. Hawver, Michael A. Makunas and William J. <br /> Hanrahan. <br /> Hazel Hopkins represented the applicant. She presented plans <br /> for the removal of the Angelo's lettering on the present sign and <br /> replacement with Purity and a logo. Size of the sign will be <br /> 83.75 sf and lighting will be a fluroflood fixture. Douglas S. <br /> Boyd, Zoning Enforcement Officer, stated that the sign has been <br /> approved by the Design Review Committee. No comments were received <br /> from abutters. <br /> • <br />
