MA 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> RE: Robert Gleason for a Special Permit SP-91-47 <br /> A Petition was filed by Robert Gleason of Chatham, New Jersey <br /> for a Special Permit under Sections 174-17 and 174-63 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws for permission to expand a pre-existing non-conforming structure <br /> with the addition of. a family room and porch in an R-3 zoning district <br /> on property located at 79 Monahanset Street (Map 123, Block 89) <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newpaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, <br /> on August 27 and September 3, 1991, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, September 11, 1991, at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> William J. Hanrahan, Michael A. Makunas and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> Engineer Christopher Costa represented the applicant and <br /> presented plans for a family room addition and porch. The planned <br /> expansion would increase the lot coverage from 10.27 to 187. <br /> The Board received a letter from a direct abutter in favor of the <br /> application. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted <br /> unanimously on September 11, 1991 to grant the Special Permit. <br /> The Special Permit is referenced by plans of Christopher Costa 6 Assoc. <br /> dated 6/7/91. <br />
