A Petition was filed by Richard Scalo of Bridgeport, Connecticut <br /> Ifor a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> for permission to construct a dock in an R-3 zoning district on property <br /> located at 389 Monomoscoy Road (Map 125, Block 2) Mashpee, MA. <br /> (Owner of record: Barbara J. and Richard S. Scalo) . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, <br /> on November 22 and November 29, 1991, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, December 11, 1991, at 7:30 P.M. at which time. the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> William J. Hanrahan, Michael A. Makunas and Cheryl A. Hawver. <br /> Engineer Jack Landers-Cauley represented the Petition and presented <br /> plans for a dock, ramp and float to replace a dock which was destroyed <br /> in the hurricane. He explained that the plans had been revised to <br /> meet Conservation Commission modifications. The Shellfish Constable <br /> stated that he had no objection to the plans. <br /> 'i Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted <br /> unanimously on December 11, 1991 to grant the Special Permit as <br /> requested. The Permit is referenced by plans of Uppercape Engineering <br /> dated December 9, 1991. <br /> b <br />
