PRE/POST-HEARING AGENDA: <br /> • Updates: <br /> o Red Brook Road culvert <br /> Submitting funding article for the Spring Town Meeting to cover half the of the <br /> Town's cost. We don't have an exact cost, but have an estimate based on similar <br /> culvert costs in Mashpee. <br /> o Upper Quashnet restoration —N/A <br /> o Bylaw Review subcommittee <br /> No feedback from previous meeting, we're ready to finalize the language and send <br /> to Town Council for review. <br /> o Johns Pond Milfoil(& Santuit Pond) <br /> We're asking for $35k to cover any contingency from Johns Pond and for the <br /> surveying and treatment of Santuit Pond. Any money not used will go back to the <br /> General Fund. <br /> o Chop Chaque Bog <br /> Posted bid for final design & permitting of Phase 2, bids are due 3/2/22. We <br /> anticipate a contract by March/April 2022. <br /> o Santuit Pond Diagnostic Study-CIP funding <br /> We're looking at Alum treatment as opposed to other treatments of phosphorus. <br /> We need to have a study done to see if it would be an effective treatment. <br /> • ADDITIONAL TOPICS: <br /> (This space is reserved for topics that the Chairman did not reasonably anticipate would <br /> be discussed). <br /> Mr.Smith said in regard to adding Trout Pond to Conservation Land, he would like to hear <br /> what someone from Trout Pond has to say. He will reach out to someone about speaking <br /> at a meeting. <br /> The group discussed whether Conservation Meetings should continue to be held remotely, <br /> or if they should resume live, in person meetings.
