<br /> Mashpee Economic Development Industrial Corporation (EDIC) <br />Minutes – January 25, 2022 <br />6:00 PM <br />ZOOM Meeting <br />Mashpee Town Hall <br /> <br />Present: Carol Sherman, Robyn Simmons, Pamela McCarthy, Patrice Pimental, Glenn <br />Thompson <br /> <br />Absent: Denise Duston <br /> <br />1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> <br />Carol Sherman opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Approval of minutes <br /> EDIC minutes of 9/28/2021; Glenn Thompson moved the committee approve the <br />minutes, Pamela McCarthy seconded, the committee approved. <br /> EDIC minutes of 10/26/2021; Pamela McCarthy moved the committee approve the <br />minutes, Robyn Simmons seconded, the committee approved. <br /> EDIC minutes 1/11/2022; Pamela McCarthy moved the committee approve the minutes, <br />Patrice Pimental seconded, the committee approved. <br /> <br />3. Finance Report <br />Robyn Simmons reported that the EDIC’s regular checking account has a balance of <br />$25,136.45; savings has a balance of $305,245.10, and CD has a balance of $51,230.27. <br /> <br />4. Old Business <br />Joint Meeting With Affordable Housing Committee: The Committee is excited this is moving <br />forward; there will be an Affordable Housing Trust meeting on February 1 on Zoom; it will be at <br />this meeting that they will award the lowest bidder for the feasibility study. Glenn Thompson, as <br />the EDIC representative, will need to attend. Carol will attend as she will write the check (as the <br />EDIC has previously agreed to fund this study). The agenda will be out this week. <br /> <br />5. New Business <br />Liability Insurance: Pamela McCarthy moved the Committee authorize the transfer of $1,348 to <br />pay for the Committee’s liability insurance that starts on February 1, 2022. Robyn Simmons <br />seconded the motion, and the committee approved. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 6:08 PM. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted by Pamela McCarthy <br />
