<br /> <br /> <br />Town of Mashpee <br />Mashpee High School <br />500 Old Barnstable Road <br />Mashpee, MA 02649 <br />Annual Town Meeting <br />Monday, May 3, 2021 <br /> <br />Town Meeting opened 7:26 PM <br />Quorum – 0 <br />Voters Present: 464 <br /> <br />Barnstable, ss: <br /> <br />Greetings to the Constables of the Town, <br /> <br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and summon the <br />inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified to vote in the elections to meet at the Mashpee High School <br />on Monday, the 3rd day of May 2021 at 7:00 p.m. for the following purposes: <br /> <br />To act on the articles contained in the following Warrant: <br /> <br />Motion made by Selectman Weeden <br /> <br />Motion: I move that the Town vote to dispense with the reading of the Annual Town Meeting Warrant <br />articles. <br /> <br />Motion passes unanimously at 7:26 PM <br /> <br />Article 1 <br /> <br />To see if the Town will vote to accept the reports of the Town officers, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> <br /> Submitted by the <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> <br />Explanation: The 2020 Annual Town Report in which the reports of Town officers are presented is available at <br />the Town Meeting and at the Town Hall. <br /> <br />The Board of Selectmen recommends approval of Article 1 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 1 by a vote of 7-0 <br /> <br />Motion made by Selectman Cotton <br /> <br />Motion: I move that the Town vote to approve Articles 1 as printed in the Warrant and with the exception <br />of the phrase β€œor take any other action relating thereto.” <br /> <br />Motion passes unanimously at 7:28 PM <br /> <br /> <br />
