Seconded by Ms.
Waygan. All in favor.
PUBLIC DISCUSSION
Lynne Barbee- She had some comments related to the Solar Bylaw, but she will submit those in
writing. She wanted to address the LCP this evening. Some Board members stated concern about how
to reach the broad public. She proposes to use the most valuable resource, The Mashpee Enterprise.
She will help in this process by talking to everyone she knows such as family, neighbors, and friends to
urge people to purchase a subscription. She brought copies this evening for Board members to give
away to someone they know. She is hoping members of the Board already have a subscription, but it
could be given to a business to put a copy in their break room or lobby. Too many papers have been
closed or taken over. She wants everyone to take advantage of this local community resource. They do
an amazing job covering local government, culture, and school sports team. Journalist Sam Drysdale
has already provided great coverage, thank you. Let's learn about the LCP from its pages!
